Established in 2007 and commencing operations in 2008, NR ISPAT has come a long way from its humble beginnings. Founded by a visionary who embarked on a journey filled with immense risk, the company's remarkable evolution is a testament to dedication and perseverance.
Starting with just one furnace in Raigarh, a modest 8-ton facility, NR ISPAT has undergone a series of impressive expansions. Today, our facilities boast two 100-ton kilns, accompanied by an 8-megawatt power plant—4 megawatts in FBC (Fluidized Bed Combustion) and 4 in Wnrb (Waste Heat Recovery Boiler)—to support our in-house power needs. Additionally, we have incorporated two more furnaces and a rolling mill with a capacity of 250-300 tons per day.
Our sprawling campus, spanning over 130 acres, stands as a testament to our commitment to growth and innovation. We are strategically positioned with mines and collieries in Orissa, providing us with a distinctive advantage in sourcing raw materials. Our Iron Ore mines in Barbil (Odisha), situated within 290 kilometers of Raigarh, ensure a consistent and reliable supply.
As we look to the future, our vision remains unwavering. NR ISPAT is poised to embark on ambitious endeavors, including plans for a 60-megawatt expansion, two 650-tons per day kilns, five 20-ton furnaces, and the introduction of a plate mill and a Structure Mill.
